Week of May 8th


This week we continued our theme of Insects and Spring. We added legs to our spiders and read the book, Miss Spider's Tea Party by David Kirk. The children practiced counting while the book was being read by placing the corresponding number onto the puzzle board.

This week the fish finger puppets continued to be popular. We used them to practice colors and conversations.

We also reviewed the song "The Elephant". The elephant has a big body(Dà shēntǐ), big ears (Dà ěrduǒ), and a long trunk (or long nose--Cháng bízi). Here is the link to the video of the song:
